When you sign up for hosting your Mac mini, you can choose between 12-48 months of contract. Hopefully this will fit all situations.
Why do you have a contract?
When you signup for a Mac mini hosting plan, we order out your bandwidth and power needs. With a commitment from you, we know how much to order and for how long. We've been around longer than any other Mac mini hosting company. Part of that success comes from us making a commitment to our clients, and the clients returning that commitment. It's a good, lasting relationship that has worked well.
What if I need to cancel early?
Every new Mac mini comes with a 30 day cancellation window. Hopefully this will allow you to get the machine going, implemented and tested to see if it will work for you. If it doesn't, just let us know within 30 days and we'll cancel the contract with no fees.
If the thirty day window is expired, we ask for just a few months notice so we can pay for the power and bandwidth ordered without a loss. This means, you can either let us know that you'll be ending in a few months and we'll adjust your contract. Or, if you need the machine right away, we can run the three months at that time and get your machine on the way to you.
Why would I want a longer contract?
When customers opt for longer contracts, it is usually for one of two reasons. First, their purchasing dept at work or school is an ordeal to go thru so they'd just assume do it once for 4 years of service. The other reason people opt for longer time is to be sure and lock in the current rate. If we need to raise charges later, it won't change their cost.
